MOTOR DRIVE CONTROL WITH PRE-WIRED OP-STATION

The DC-1635-AS is a drive motor control package that is designed as a retro-fit package for control of a 2 to 5 HP 220/440 3 phase drive motor. It is designed with NEC requirements of 120Vac control operating voltage. The system incorporates a main power through the door locking 30 Amp 220/440 power disconnect service. The main control enclosure is a NEMA 12 rated enclosure with dimensions of 24”H x 18”L x 6”D all control components, power transformer, fuses, control relays, motor starters etc. are mounted in the main enclosure. In addition the system incorporates an operator control station with a 10 ft pre-wired interconnecting cable.

The control station is a NEMA 12 rated enclosure with the dimensions of 4”H x 5”D x 12”L. The station consists of a motor stop button a Forward
( FWD) and Reverse ( REV) illuminated run buttons and a main power on indicator. The FWD and REV motor start buttons control the direction of the drive motor. When either buttons are pushed an indicator light will illuminate, indicating the direction of the motor. The motor stop button will stop the main motor in either direction. The power indicator light indicates that the control has electrical main power.

The DC-1635-AS is configured as a 2 to 5 Horsepower control with operating voltages of 220/440 50/60 Hz. Custom configurations are available for larger size motors with additional operator station control components. The control system is shipped completely wired, Op-Station, Motor starter, Main-disconnect etc. Inter-connection to the drive motor and main power source is all that is required for electrical installation.

Warning: This control system is designed to control the starting and stopping action of a main drive motor. This control system has no previsions for dynamic or electro-mechanical braking . This control simply connects and disconnects power to the drive motor. Any quick required braking action is governed by the main controlling motor. Without braking action on the main motor the control system when stopped, disconnects power to the main drive motor allowing the main motor to coast to rest.
