GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The SW-1625-AS safety switch are intended for use with machine guards, protective grating, covers and doors, which have to be closed for operational safety. This safety switch comply with regulations for position switches having positive break NC contacts for operator safety. The housing is diecast aluminium.; The SW-1625-AS enclosure has a NEMA rating of 1, 3, 4, 12 and 13. The Normally Closed ( N.C ) contacts are closed when the rotating shaft is at center position.
The safety switch is typically connected directly to the rotating shaft of the mechanical door gate. The normally closed contacts on the safety switch open after two degrees of rotation for the switches shaft.

The SW-1472-AS safety switch are intended for use with machine guards, protective grating, covers and doors, which have to be closed for operational safety. This safety switch comply with regulations for position switches having positive break NC contacts for operator safety. The housing is made of fiberglass rein-forced thermoplastic, which is self-extinguishing. The SW-1472-AS enclosure has a NEMA rating of 1, 3, 4, 6, 12 and 13.
The Normally Closed ( N.C ) contacts are closed when the key is inserted into the switch actuator. The safety switch and keys are sold separately. Typically the safety switch is mounted on a solid structure of the mechanical barrier and the key is mounted to the moving portion of the mechaniacl gate.Refer to KTI Form FKL5098R1 for Control Reliable Self-Checking, Fault Recognition Safety Circuit Control Module.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

SW-1626-AS safety interlock switch comply with regulations for positive break NC contacts required in safety circuits. This device may be used on industrial and commercial equipment where hinged guards, protective covers and grating, or doors must be kept closed and locked into position to insure operator safety, even when a power failure occurs. This interlock switch will remain locked upon resumption of power.

OPERATION:
Closing the guard inserts the actuator key into the housing and locks the guard utilizing a knee lever system that latches a dead-point locking mechanism. As the actuator is inserted into the housing the locking lever also closes internal switch contacts. Once the door or gate is locked, energizing ( supplying voltage ) the solenoid unlocks the mechanism. When unlocked the internal switch contacts are re-opened.
