GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Micro-EZ-Set is a stand alone Micro-Processor base 3 station die protection system which offers the advantages of modern technology but operates in a conventional die protection manner.

The unit was designed to help metal stampers monitor their stamping processes continually while alleviating the need for a machine operator to constantly guard against common malfunctions. The use of this system can improve your plant's efficiency and profits by reducing equipment downtime and tooling damage.

The unit comes standard with three separate cyclical (timed event) channels and two constant monitoring channels. The unit operates off one main timer sugnal. If all 3 cyclical staations are active all station sensor inputs must come on momentarily during the on portion of the main timing switch, if any one of these inputs fail to take place the Micr-EZ-Set will stop the press. The unit is capable of detecting 3 cycle events through the use of the cyclical stations.

Each of these stations have the selectable ability of either Top-Stop or E-Stopping the press by-way of toggle switches located on the face and in addition these stations can be turn on and off when needed. Two constant monitoring inputs stations (normally-open and normally closed) can be applied to an infinite number of applications some are, material buckling, pilot positioning, end-of-stock detection and low lubrication these conditions can be constantly monitored through the use of these inputs. All fault conditions are indicated separately on the face of the Micro-EZ-Set by means of bright indicating lamps.

The Micro-EZ-Set is enclosed in a rugged NEMA 12 enclosure and is designed with UL listed of UL recognized components. Like all KTI products the Micro-EZ-Set is backed by a full 1 year warranty on any defective components and or workmanship.
